Men's jogging suits are now designed for hurricanes, blizzards as well as the intense heat of summer and they are very easy to obtain with the proliferation of sporting goods stores and online stores.

For winter conditions, jogging suits must be layered, especially in the upper body, for a comfortable and safe jog. Instead of one thick layer of clothing, it is recommended to have two or three lightweight layers that will allow perspiration to escape while at the same time holding in more heat so that the jogger will stay warmer and drier. Multi-layering will allow the easy removal of one layer when the jogger becomes overheated and to re-add the layer that was removed if he becomes chilled again.

The first layer of clothing, the one next to the skin, must be a synthetic wicking material that will wick the perspiration away from the body in order to keep the body dry and warm. Cotton fabric is not advisable as it will get wet and stay wet when you sweat, making you chill as you go on.

The second or middle layer must be heavier than the first layer but with the same function of wicking perspiration away from the body and at the same time keeping body heat. When the body starts to overheat, this layer can be removed.

The third or outer layer could be a jacket or a vest that is lightweight, breathable, windproof and waterproof to give the jogger protection against cold, wind, rain, or snow while still allowing perspiration to evaporate.

Protection for the head and the hand must be also included such as thermal hat, neck gaiter for the head and gloves or mittens for the hand.

Lower body needs up to two layers of wicking tights and a wind-proof or water-proof second layer.

For summer conditions, jogging attire must be made of the right materials in order to provide comfort and the make the jog cooler. Never wear cotton as they will stay wet and cling to the body, chafing skin in the process. Choose a mesh top that will wick perspiration away from the body to outside the fabric where evaporation will take place. Running shorts made of nylon will be comfortable as they will hang and will not stick to sweaty skin. Use mesh running shoes and a pair of acrylic socks to allow evaporation of perspiration in the foot area.

Jogging in summer can further be made comfortable by having a mesh running heat for protection of the face against the dangerous UV rays, use of sunscreen, and by carrying hydration pack.

Jogging can be done comfortably in any kind of weather throughout the year due to the vast improvements in men's jogging suits. Joggers, therefore, need not be intimidated by any kind of weather conditions. They can jog comfortably.
